Who are we?

 

The Tourism Support Bureau was an initiative unique to Blackpool. It was operational between Easter 2003 and 31st March 2008 providing an innovative coordinated business support service to tourism accommodation businesses in the Blackpool ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) and SRB (Single Regeneration Budget) wards.

 

There are currently a wide range of products and services available on offer to hotel and self catering operators in Blackpool, some of which can cause confusion.

 

  How do you know if these products and services are suitable to your business?

  Is the organisation offering a product or service that is reputable and of a high quality?

 

We worked closely with a number of partner organisations that deliver services to Blackpool accommodation providers. We made a commitment to work together and provide a "One Stop Shop" for business support. So, rather than make numerous telephone calls trying to identify a product or service to help your business, you could call the Bureau! We provided individual tailored help and accessed information and gave detailed advice on what other agencies are offering.
